LECTURE BY PROF. WOJCIECH CELLARY FOR TALEX EMPLOYEES

“Bitcoin and blockchain, i.e. a chain of blocks” is the title of the lecture given by professor Wojciech Cellary for the employees of TALEX SA in the company's headquarters at Karpia 27D. The lecture was also broadcasted to our branches in Wrocław, Warsaw, and Katowice. During the lecture we learned what bitcoin is and how it works, its advantages, but also the risks it poses.

Professor Wojciech Cellary is a full professor at the Poznań University of Economics and head of the Department of Information Technology at the Faculty of Informatics and Electronic Economy. He is the author of over 200 scientific publications, including 10 books.

This lecture was the first in a series of planned meetings with experts, who will introduce our employees to interesting issues in the broadly understood area of IT.
